During the past 65 years from 1959-60 to present, Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Amravati, as an educational Society has experienced many changes. Due to the enthusiastic, courageous, and accomplished directors of the institution, as well as the teachers and staff who lived a life of dedication and sacrifice, the institution was able to move towards progress. Shree G. S. allies Annasaheb Vaidya, who was founder member of Bharatiya Vidya Mandir, Amravati, along with his close friends namely late shri Shridhar B. Chinchamalatpure, late shri Vinayak S. Kulkarni, late shri Yashwant B. Khaparde, late shri D. N. allies Babanrao Metkar, (ex. MLA), late shri P. B. Somwanshi (ex. MLC), late Dr. B. G. Tayde (freedom fighter), Prof. Dr. Vasantrao M. Bhagwatkar have founded this society with aim to develop the spirit and dignity of the teaching professions. Their contribution to the society is incomparable. Now our current society members are following the footstapes by preserving traditions and providing a modern vision to the institutions under society.
